This project reimagines a historic office building as a vibrant, mixed-use residential experience in the heart of the Loop. The project blends adaptive reuse with community-centered programming, transforming the building into a living urban destination that balances contemporary needs with architectural legacy.

A diverse mix of affordable and market-rate residences creates an inclusive living environment, while a two-story Kitchen & Market activates the street level as a daily gathering space and neighborhood anchor. Thoughtful restoration preserves the building’s historic character, complemented by modern systems that enhance comfort, sustainability, and long-term performance. A minimal Clark Street canopy establishes a clear, welcoming moment of arrival and a renewed identity.

My Role

I supported the project through 3D modeling and spatial layout development, translating design intent into clear visual narratives. My work focused on massing studies, unit layouts, and street-level activation to help communicate the experiential vision, scale, and flow of the proposed transformation.
